Olvera Street - Los Angeles, Ca

I've been waiting around to edit the small amount of photos I took while visiting Olvera Street last Cinco de Mayo weekend. I was so excited to finally see the Avila Adobe- the oldest house in Los Angeles. Being a "so-cal" native, I've always been embarrassed to say that I have never been to Olvera Street- nope, not even to buy some huarcahes or a poncho. Ironically, I made the trip without trying authentic Mexican food as I had just had brunch with family at one of my favorite SFV restaurants, Granville.  I snapped just a few photos. The culture is truly inspiring and I left with a $10 Mexican blanket and some chile mango lollipops (my favorite).
